AI chatbot for websites
The AI chatbot for your website that actually knows your business
An AI chatbot for your website answers your visitors' questions around the clock, based on your own content rather than general internet knowledge. With the SWAI Chatbot Creator you import your pages, documents and FAQs, set the tone and rules, and embed the chatbot with a single line of code.
The 14-day trial runs in the preview in your dashboard. To have the chatbot answer live on your website, you need a paid plan.
What an AI chatbot does on your website
Visitors arrive with specific questions: What does it cost? How long does delivery take? Does it come in another size? The answers are often somewhere on your site, just not where the visitor happens to be looking. An AI chatbot takes the search off their hands. It understands the question in plain words and gives the right answer right in the conversation.
For you, that means fewer repetitive requests by email or phone and more time for the conversations that really need a person. You can instruct the chatbot to point to your contact page, an email address or a phone number when a request is complex.
How the chatbot arrives at its answers
The chatbot answers from the knowledge base you build yourself. You import pages of your website by URL, upload PDF, DOCX or text files, and add FAQs with exactly the wording you want. All sources end up in one shared knowledge base.
When a visitor asks a question, the matching passages are looked up in your knowledge base and passed, together with your instructions, to the AI model that phrases the answer. In those instructions, the so-called system prompt, you define role, tone and limits. That is also where you decide what happens with a question it cannot answer, for example an honest note and a link to your contact page.
One thing matters: the chatbot is only as good as your content. If you have updated your website, simply import the changed pages again.
Works on any website
Embedding takes a single script tag that you paste before the closing body tag. That works on WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Wix and plain HTML pages. The script loads with the defer attribute and does not slow your page down.
You choose how the chatbot appears: as a chat button in the corner, as a floating window or embedded directly in the page. Name, colour, avatar and greeting match your brand. You set greeting, slogan and quick starters per language, so visitors to your German, French, Italian or English pages see the right greeting.

Frequently asked questions
How much does an AI chatbot for a website cost?
The Core plan costs CHF 59 per month, the Pro plan CHF 149 per month. Extra messages come in packs of 1000 messages for CHF 25. You can try it free for the first 14 days in the preview. All details are on the pricing page.
What content can the chatbot learn?
You can import pages of your website by URL, upload PDF, DOCX and text files, and create FAQs. Together they form the knowledge base the chatbot answers from.
Do I need programming skills?
No. You configure the chatbot in the dashboard and finally paste one line of code into your website. On WordPress, Webflow, Shopify and Wix you can do that through the custom code settings.
What happens when the chatbot does not know an answer?
That is up to you. In the system prompt you can instruct the chatbot to say honestly that it does not know and to point to your contact page or a person. Test this in the preview before you go live.
Can I try the chatbot first?
Yes. Every new organization can build everything and test it in the dashboard preview for 14 days. To have the chatbot answer live on your website, choose a paid plan.
